Role of the Finance Team

The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The essential leadership functions to support the ministry of the Church are:

  • Lead in the Spirit
  • Discover Current Reality
  • Name Shared Vision
  • Develop Action Plans
  • Monitor the Journey

The Finance Team helps with raising, managing, and dispersing the financial resources needed for that ministry. The team develops the annual budget, assists in conducting the annual pledge campaign, monitors the budget month to month, deals with any shortfall in expected income, and conducts the annual church audit. In addition, the treasurer and financial secretary provide our key reports.

A reminder for Finance Team Members and Trustees, current and past: please check the counting sign-up sheet in the work room on a regular basis as our “regulars” are often out of town on summer weekends.
