The second in a series of Wonderful Wednesdays at UMCC is scheduled for July 23, beginning at 10 a.m. All children going into 1st through 6th grades are encouraged to attend, whether or not they attended the June Wonderful Wednesday event. The theme this month, as the name implies, revolves around wheels, specifically of the chariot ride by the Ethiopian official that met Phillip on the road to Gaza. The emphasis will be on sharing Good News, God’s and our own. The day-long event will include Bible stories and discussion, music, crafts, and games. The afternoon will culminate with a bike rodeo emphasizing bike skills, safety, and fun.
Participants are asked to bring their bicycles/ tricycles and helmets to fully participate in the day’s activities.
High School students and adults are encouraged to lend their support by helping with the event. Contact Kay Abrams, Sandra Woods or the church office (696-2353) for more information.
