Ticket information for Auction dinner

The UMCC Annual Goods and Services Auction is happening on Saturday, October 18. Dinner reservations are required for this event no later than Sunday, October 12. Tickets can be purchased in the church lobby after services or by completing the RSVP form in the church bulletins. If anyone missed that deadline, please contact one of the auction ringleaders: Julie Foster, June Mitchell, or Bonnie Bailey. You can also call the church office, (907) 696-2353.

Dinner will be served from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Adult dinner menu … $13

  • Chicken enchiladas
  • Refried beans and rice
  • Choice of two desserts

Children’s Menu … $3

  • Chicken strips
  • Chips
  • Fruit

Dress as a favorite Hollywood actor, actress, or character and make a grand entrance on the “red carpet”.
The evening will include a carnival, activities, music, and dancing.

Here’s the schedule:

  • 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Dinner
  • 5:30 p.m. Childcare opens in the nursery for preschool and younger.
  • 5:30 p.m. Silent auction bidding begins.
  • 6:00 p.m. Live auction
  • Carnival fun will be interspersed throughout! Music will be provided by DJ ReMax, Max Friedli, for all who might want to dance.

Help make this event a success — both for the funds raised and the fun. Items to be auctioned are needed. For the silent auction, donations of handmade arts and crafts, Christmas gifts, and baked items are especially good. For the live auction, consider pricier things: activities, services, guided tours– really, there is no limit!

For those interested in assisting with the activities, deputies are needed for the community jail, spotters for the auctioneers, ticket takers, and others for various jobs. Contact Julie Foster, June Mitchell, or Bonnie Bailey to offer your service.
