- Christmas Eve Worship
- December 24
- 6:30 p.m. service for families and children
- 8:00 p.m. traditional service of readings and carols
Two beautiful Christmas Eve services are being planned to enhance and bless your Christmas celebration. The services are similar although different. Both will feature readings and carols and candle lighting. The carols will vary by service as will the readings. The first service will be focused upon the children and less “formal.” Because of the differences in the services you may want to attend both! The choir will bless us with their offerings at both services. Our Christmas Eve offering will be for Imagine No Malaria, a mission initiative of the entire United Methodist Church.
Many persons, even those who do not regularly attend worship, are receptive to an invitation to Christmas Eve Worship Service. Many would like to attend but don’t know where or how? Some of these persons may be your family or neighbors or co-workers. Extend an invitation to Christmas Eve worship and offer a blessing to another this Christmas Season. Click here to find a Christmas Eve flyer which you may print or email to friends or family member. These invitations will be available in printed form at the church beginning on December 14. This is a simple way to invite people and includes the location and details of the service, as well as how to access the UMC of Chugiak.
Be sure to include one of these services in your plans for Christmas Eve.
