Happy New Year!
We have begun a new year … a new chapter. This Sunday, we will help others gain a new outlook by honoring Human Relations Day.
I want our church to be one that follows Proverbs 31:8 — to be a voice for the voiceless. It is our chance to be the heartbeat of Matthew 25 — to invest in the overlooked and ignored.
On January 17, 2016, we will join thousands of other United Methodists across the U.S. in a special offering targeted toward advocacy, community development and at-risk youth. How does your generosity impact those in need? Read a story about a single mother who overcame the struggle of addiction and now has the keys to her own home and the American Dream.
When we give on Human Relations Day, we effect change today and for generations to come. Thank you!
I hope you are as excited as I am about our opportunity on Human Relations Day (or you can give online now).
It’s an honor to be your pastor,
